GBC STL1000 Binding Machine

Get high-volume productivity with the GBC Semi-Automatic Twin Loop Binder. Four separate, yet simultaneous, production stations mean the operator never waits for a new element to be advanced, allowing the STL1000 to achieve speeds of up to 1,000 books an hour.

Spool changeovers take only minutes - so you don’t waste time when job requirements change. The convenient foot switch frees the operator’s hands for maximum efficiency. The ergonomically-built STL1000 has a flat surface for jogging books and is stool height for operator comfort.

The STL1000 handles most stocks including plastic covers and index tabs. Plus it accommodates binding edges up to 13” and book thicknesses to 1-1/8”.

• Spool-fed Twin Loop wire is cut to size and moved into position. Spool changes can be complete in minutes and without tools.
• The operator hangs a complete pre-punched book on the open binding element. Operators may sit or stand.
• The operator depresses the foot pedal which conveys the book to the closing area for binding.
• The completed book moves automatically to an output conveyor during the next bind cycle.
